Rice Pep Rally

Friday, August 29th on South Quad at the Rockne Memorial

A game weekend Friday night tradition—come out to the pep rally to cheer on the Fighting Irish as they prepare for their first game of the 2014 season against the Rice Owls. The first pep rally of the 2014 season will be held Friday, August 29th at 6 pm on South Quad at the Rockne Memorial. Preceding the rally (4:45pm) will be a performance by singer-songwriter Pat McKillen '10. Both are free and open to the public. Please come out and get the Irish pumped up as they prepare to face the Rice Owls in the house that Rockne built!

The remaining pep rally locations are TBD. Please check back for updates as they are released.

Notre Dame Stadium Bag Policy

Effective for the 2014 season

As part of an ongoing commitment to safety and security, the University of Notre Dame will institute a policy on bags and other items fans can bring into its football stadium on game days. Notre Dame strongly encourages fans to not bring ANY type of bags to the stadium.

Policy Details

  • ALL backpacks, duffel bags, and tote bags will NOT be allowed in the stadium.
  • ALL other small bags are subject to inspection at the stadium gates upon entrance.
  • Diaper bags and medical device bags will be allowed but will be subject to inspection.
  • Blankets, coats, ponchos, and other similar items will be allowed but will be subject to inspection.

We are taking every possible step to ensure minimal disruption or delay to stadium guests. Personal property and privacy will be respected at all times. We appreciate our fans’ cooperation and patience.
