The match up will take place at Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas. The Irish defeated the Longhorns at home last season 38-3. A rivalry that began in 1913, the teams have faced each other eleven times with the Irish defeating the Longhorns nine of those eleven meetings. Get your first taste of Spring Ball 2016 here before the Blue Gold Game, Saturday, April 16 at 12:30 pm ET at Notre Dame Stadium. Blue Gold tickets will go on sale Thursday, March 10th at 8:30am.
