| Don't Miss the Shamrock Series Fan Fest Posted: 10 Sep 2014 08:06 AM PDT The Ultimate Fan Fest Experience for Irish Fans!Indianapolis will come alive in a whole new way when the Fighting Irish descend on the city for the 6th Shamrock Series game. The 2014 Shamrock Series is bigger than ever before! Join us on Pan Am Plaza and Georgia Street for the inaugural Shamrock Series Fan Fest from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, September 13th! The Fan Fest is the place to be for college football fans and local residents on Saturday before the game! The Fan Fest will have something for everyone! Complete with live entertainment, celebrity appearances, a corn hole tournament, an obstacle course, activities, cash food trucks, refreshment tents, Drummers’ Circle, a Notre Dame Band performance, and more — there’s no better way to get revved up for the big game at Lucas Oil Stadium. Here’s a look at some of what you can expect at the Shamrock Series Fan Fest: Live Entertainment11:00 AM – Bagpipe Band performance, Georgia Street Under Armour Fan ShopLooking for official Shamrock Series swag for the game? Maybe one of those awesome jerseys? Visit the Under Armour-Notre Dame Fan Shop located on Georgia Street. They will also be open on Friday during the pep rally if you want to shop early! Autograph Sessions & Photo OpportunitiesFrom Irish Football greats to a beloved IndyCar driver, we’ve got some great folks coming out to sign autographs for and take photos with fans! Tony Rice 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm PLUS grab a photo in one of our interactive photo booths! Choose from an array of green screen backgrounds, personalize your photo, and share with all of your friends on social media! Football Obstacle CourseEver dreamed of being a Notre Dame Football player? Your dream is about to come true! Come ready to strap on your gold helmet, pads, and hit the turf to participate in the our ultimate Irish Football obstacle course. You’ll complete the course — in true Irish fashion — by running the ball into the endzone for a touchdown! Test your skills against some of the best fans in the land. Fans of all ages are welcome to participate. Waivers must be signed onsite in order to participate in the Football obstacle course. All minors must have a parent sign the waiver on their behalf. Travelers Insurance Chipping ChallengeBack again, after a great time at the 2013 BCS Championship, Travelers Insurance will bring their chipping challenge to the 2014 Shamrock Series Fan Fest! Come check out this full size chipping cage equipped with a water feature on Pam Am Plaza! You’ll definitely want to be there when Paqui Kelly takes on Raghib “Rocket” Ismail in a one-on-one chip off for charity. Bring your best golf game and get ready for a great time! This is one stop you can’t miss at the Fan Fest. Sprint NASCAR CarHow can you celebrate a good time in the Circle City without an official NASCAR Race Car. Come by the Sprint station on Georgia Street to take a picture with the official Sprint NASCAR and spin the Sprint wheel for a chance to win great prizes!
