Michigan Pep Rally

Get the Irish Ready to Play Under the Lights

The Michigan Pep Rally will be on Library Quad on Friday, September 5th at 6:00 PM.

Come out and support the Fighting Irish as they prepare to take on Michigan under the lights! The pep rally will kickoff with the Leprechaun, Cheerleaders, and Marching Band. Special guests include Coach Lou Holtz and the Golf Channel’s David Feherty.

Make sure you arrive early to hear 2010 Alum Pat McKillen perform hits from his album, the Red Headed Enemy, at 5:00 PM!

Come out to get the Fighting Irish ready for GAME DAY against Michigan! They need you, Irish fans!

The pep rally will relocate to the North Dome of the Joyce Center in case of inclement weather.

The Notre Dame Experience

Join Us for the Ultimate ND Fan Experience

The Notre Dame Experience will be open to the public from 12:00 pm – 7:30 pm for Saturday's home football game versus Michigan in the Joyce Fieldhouse (north dome). Admission is free to the interactive fan event. Our new games allow fans to emulate the Irish by participating in the 40-yard dash, vertical leap, obstacle course, QB challenge and more! Fans will have the opportunity to visit our Video Game Lounge, relive great moments in Notre Dame history with the You Make the Call booth or visit the other displays throughout the ND Experience for photo opportunities or collect give-aways.

Throughout the day, there will be entertainment including an autograph session with former Notre Dame football players, Notre Dame videos and programming, and a visit by the Notre Dame cheerleaders and Leprechaun. Fans can enjoy concessions and drinks provided by Centerplate and relax in a family friendly atmosphere. The festivities will wrap up at 7:00 pm with the showing of the Notre Dame Football ™ pre-game show on NBC and then the live broadcast of the game.

Events & activities for the Michigan game include:

• Autograph session presented by Sprint from 3:30 am – 5:30 pm with former Notre Dame greats:
– Marc Edwards & Allen Rossum (3:30 pm – 5:30 pm)
– Tony Rice & Chris Zorich (3:30 Pm – 4:30 pm)

• Various football skills challenge games, video lounge and multiple photo opportunities

Notre Dame Stadium Bag Policy

Effective for the 2014 season

As part of an ongoing commitment to safety and security, the University of Notre Dame will institute a policy on bags and other items fans can bring into its football stadium on game days. Notre Dame strongly encourages fans to not bring ANY type of bags to the stadium.

Policy Details

  • ALL backpacks, duffel bags, and tote bags will NOT be allowed in the stadium.
  • ALL other small bags are subject to inspection at the stadium gates upon entrance.
  • Diaper bags and medical device bags will be allowed but will be subject to inspection.
  • Blankets, coats, ponchos, and other similar items will be allowed but will be subject to inspection.

We are taking every possible step to ensure minimal disruption or delay to stadium guests. Personal property and privacy will be respected at all times. We appreciate our fans’ cooperation and patience.
